Spiritual Life of Cardinal Merry del Val

$ 14.95

Rev. Jerome Dal-Gal

As Secretary of State under Pius X, Merry del Val was a formidable defender if the faith:  architect and executor of St. Pius X's war against Modernism.   This earned him many enemies.

However, upon his death in 1930, people were better able to focus on the man and on his extraordinary spiritual life.  He is the author of the Litany of Humility.

This is the story of his spiritual life.

 DARDEN:  WE MAY BE IN TROUBLE HERE.  WE MAY HAVE TO WAIT ON THIS UNTIL I ORDER COPIES TO SCAN.  FRANKLY, THE PICTURE ON THE COVER OF THIS BOOK LOOKS MORE LIKE THE GHOST OF MERRY DEL VAL THAN THE REAL MAN.  AND I CAN'T FIND ANOTHER PICTURE OF IT ANYWHERE.  THERE IS ANOTHER PUBLISHER FOR THE SAME TITLE, DIFFERENT COVER, BUT I'M NOT SURE I WANT TO ORDER FOR ONE TITLE.
